Washington seeks to protect 50 PYD/PKK terrorists on Turkey's wanted list

Washington sought to obtain a copy of a new wanted terrorist list prepared by Turkey – a list which includes Democratic Union Party (PYD) terrorists. The U.S. has refused to acknowledge that the PYD is the Syrian extension of the PKK, and that the People's Protection Units (YPG) is its armed wing. The U.S. request to obtain the terrorist list was rejected by Turkey, and officials evaluated the request as an attempt to protect PKK/PYD terrorists.
