11-year-old Mave Grace belongs to a poor Congolese family taking refuge in an internally displaced camp in Bunia, the Democratic Republic of Congo. She had her hand chopped off by militants when they attacked the village of Tchee, eastern Democratic Republic of Congo on April 12. The militants killed her pregnant mother, her three brothers and left a deep scar on the face of her sister.
