UN, Iran, Turkey, Russia hold talks on Syria

The UN Special Envoy for Syria gathered officials from Iran, Turkey and Russia on Tuesday for talks on the Syrian issue. The three countries are the three guarantor countries of the Astana process talks which were launched in January 2017 with the aim of putting an end to violence and improving the humanitarian situation in war-torn Syria.
