Turkish Red Crescent continues to help flood victims in Pakistan

The Turkish Red Crescent has been continuing to help Pakistani victims of the devastating floods that battered the country. Speaking to the Anadolu Agency Anıl Kocabal, the International delegation and operation manager, said the agency dispatched 100 tonnes of aid to Pakistan by trains. The death toll from Pakistan's catastrophic floods has risen to nearly 1,400, with 36 new casualties, including 15 children, reported in the last 24 hours, official statistics showed on Friday. One-third of the country’s land is under water for several weeks now. Close to 13,000 people have been injured across the country in the rain and flood-related incidents since June 14.
