Thousands protest Georgian gov’t for failing to grant candidate status from EU

Thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, blaming the government for not granting their country candidate status from the EU, on Friday. The demonstrators gathered in front of the parliament building and called for Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to resign blaming government for not granting their country candidate status by the EU.
