Russian shelling hits natural gas pipeline in Ukraine

Flames rose into the air after Russian shelling hit a “high-pressure” natural gas pipeline near Svitlodarsk in Donetsk as Russia pushes on with its incursion into neighboring Ukraine. "The Russians have just broken a high-pressure gas pipeline near Svitlodarsk. How the damaged gas pipeline is burning can be seen from afar. Gas workers will soon find out how quickly they can restore it," said Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
