The Russian Black Sea Fleet's flagship, the Guards missile cruiser "Moskva" conducted artillery firing at combat training ranges on Friday, Feb. 18, in the Black Sea. Moscow and Kyiv have been locked in a conflict since hostilities in the eastern Donbas region broke out in 2014 after Russia annexed the Crimean Peninsula. Russia is accused of amassing thousands of troops near Ukraine, prompting fears that it could be planning another military offensive against its former Soviet neighbor.
