11:51 July 05, 2021 AA
Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest was held at Coney Island in the Brooklyn borough of New York City. Competitors tried to eat as many hot dogs as they could to win the contest. On the women's side, Michelle Lesco took first place in the competition by eating 31 hot dogs in 10 minutes. The annual Fourth of July event took place in front of spectators after last year's contest was held in a private location for media only due to the coronavirus pandemic.
