Long table, long faces: Scholz gets the ‘Macron treatment’ from Putin

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz got a taste of the treatment Russian President Vladimir Putin gave his French counterpart Macron last week when he sat the Frenchman at opposite ends of a 4-meter-long table. This time, Olaf got the short end of the stick when he visited Moscow on Tuesday as he was sat at an insanely long table opposite the Russian leader as he, too, refused a Russian PCR test.
