Israeli police assaulted Givara Budeiri, a journalist for Al Jazeera Arabic, while she was covering a demonstration on Saturday in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem. “They kicked me inside the car in a very bad way … they were kicking me from everywhere,” she said after she was released from hours-long custody.
