Arab Israeli lawmaker, Ahmed Tibi, plays and recites the Islamic call to prayer, or ezan, in the Israeli parliament, Knesset, to protest the latest Israeli law. A new law has been introduced which bans the use of loudspeakers for the ezan, which is the announcement that calls people to gather to pray together, in mosques in Jerusalem and Palestinian territories, under the guise of “sound pollution". Arab lawmakers in Israeli parliament said the legislation was discriminatory against Muslims living in the country.
