Hurricane Ida survivors complain of federal aid delays in New York

More than a week after Hurricane Ida first made landfall in the northeastern states of the U.S and caused loss of life and property, survivors have claimed that the federal government hasn't kept its promise of securing aid. Veterinarian Gunsu Ocal, who had to evacuate her house that was flooded in the hurricane in the Bergen district of New Jersey, stated that she could not receive any help even after a week and that she stayed at his relatives’ house temporarily during this time.
