Ex-soldier opens fire in Covid-19 hospital in Thailand, killing one

An armed former soldier donning a camouflage outfit and red beret fired gunshots in a coronavirus field hospital near Bangkok in Thailand on Thursday, killing a 54-year-old patient. According to initial investigations, the suspect perpetrated the crime because of his hatred toward drug addicts. The building was once used as a drug rehabilitation center and later transformed into a field hospital to treat COVID-19 patients.
