According to many international conventions (Geneva Conventions on the Protection of Civilians in the War of 1949, Additional Protocol to the Geneva Conventions, 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and Additional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child), it is a crime to make children fight on the frontlines. However, the terrorist organization PYD/PKK is using children for their dirty work.
