Bowlegged cow becomes farmer's loving pet after being rescued from slaughterhouse

Approximately two years ago, a baby cow born with 'long bone deformity' was saved by a kind farmer while waiting to be slaughtered and made into dog food in Thailand's western Kanchanaburi province. Manop Donboonthai paid 588 dollars to save the poor animal, whom he later named “Giant,' taking it home where it has been leading a happy life as a farmer's pet since 2018.
