Greece has been battling wildfires across the country for the sixth day as blazes culminated in the evacuation of thousands of people from the affected areas. Apocalyptic scenes have been documented all over the country with the sky in the capital Athens turning dark with ashes near cities tat are surrounded by fire. Flames in the northern island of Evia are still burning, obliterating thousands of hectares of pristine forests, destroying homes, and forcing hundreds of vacationers to flee.
