Workers maintain world's highest-voltage power line in China

Workers maintained the world's highest-voltage power line that stretches across the Yellow River in northwest China's Gansu Province on Saturday before the line officially goes into service. A total of 16 traction wires were installed over the Yellow River in Gansu on Monday to link two transmission towers which are part of an ultra-high voltage direct current transmission line, which so far is the longest of its kind in China.
