Water level drops below natural rim at Turkey’s Van Lake

Water levels in Turkey’s eastern Lake Van decreased due to climate change. A drone footage shows an aerial view of the before and after of the lake revealing the extent of the water ebbs. New land pieces were emerged due to rapid evaporation and withdrawal. The increasing effects of global warming are causing water level changes in the lake during certain periods.
