Boris Johnson, the frontrunner to succeed Theresa May as British Prime Minister, dodged a question about his past use of drugs on Wednesday, saying that people want to focus on what government can do for them during the leadership campaign. Asked about an interview in 2007 where said he had tried cocaine, Johnson said that the public wanted to focus on the issues and “all the rest of it, frankly, is I think in danger of blowing us off track.”
