The United Kingdom is experiencing its coldest week in five years, with the Siberian cold front bringing heavy snow, disrupting normal traffic and shutting hundreds of schools. Britain's weather department confirmed Tuesday that snow shower will continue to sweep across northeastern England and eastern Scotland, while might knock out power and communication lines in the coming days. Temperatures were measured lower than zero Celsius degree in most parts, and according to the Met Office some areas might get even colder than the Arctic Circle in early March.
