Turkish PM visits Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh camps
Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yıldırım, his daughter Buşra Koylubay, the President of Turkey's Religious Affairs Directorate Ali Erbaş and Turkish Red Crescent head Kerem Kinik visited Rohingya refugees in Cox's Bazar camps as part of the prime minister's two-day visit to Bangladesh. The Turkish delegation met with refugees and listened to stories of the unspeakable horrors they faced in Myanmar. They also distributed food to Rohingya refugees during their visit to the Balukhali refugee camp. Over 655,000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh since Aug. 25 seeking refuge from Myanmar's military operations, which have been labelled as “ethnic cleansing” by the UN.
