Five terrorists were neutralized after being discovered preparing for a terrorist attack at Mount Tendürek in Ağrı, an eastern province of Turkey. The operation was launched after the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) sent to the region identified the absolute coordinates where the terrorists were hidden. F-16 jets and armored helicopters launched an air strike on the area. Five terrorists discovered with their materials were neutralized. While a senior terrorist code-named “Selahattin" fled, he was reported to have been detained by the terrorist organization and taken to Northern Iraq for interrogation.
