Turkish driver dies after crashing car into tunnel wall undergoing maintenance

A 32-year-old man died after crashing his vehicle into the wall of a tunnel that was closed to traffic due to roadworks in Turkey's Rize province on Monday. Abdurrahman Gedikli was entrapped inside the vehicle after hitting the wall of the Ovit Tunnel that had been closed off with bollards in the Ikizdere district of the province. Gedikli died instantaneously at the scene of the crash.
