Turkish drillships continue preparations for exploratory drilling in Black Sea

Turkey's domestic drilling ships 'Fatih' and 'Kanuni' docked at port in the Filyos town of Caycuma district has continued the preparations for exploratory drilling off Zonguldak province. Exploratory drilling will begin in April in the Amasra-1 well in Black Sea. Completing its work in Turkali-2 well, Fatih arrived at the Filyos Port for the exploration in the region, 'Amasra-1' well in the North Sakarya Gas Field. Kanuni will perform complementary and some test operations of the drillings to be made by Fatih in the Amasra-1 well. Arriving at the Filyos port, Kanuni has carried out tower reassembly, navigation tests, and after drilling, equipment assembly and bottom-hole safety system maintenance work.
