Turkey sends at least 272 irregular migrants back to Afghanistan

At least 272 Afghan nationals who illegally entered Turkey were flown back to Afghanistan from the Eastern Anatolian city of Igdır. The government's efforts to combat irregular migration are ongoing, with irregular migrants held in repatriation camps for a short period before being returned to their home countries. The plane carrying the migrants to Afghanistan reportedly belongs to Ariana Afghan Airlines.
