Turkey continues to be the voice of Rohingya Muslims in Rakhine

Turkey is the first foreign country to send aid to Rohingya Muslims, who escaped Myanmar's persecution by fleeing to Bangladesh. TİKA, a Turkish aid agency, delivered 1,000 tons of aid to Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh, with a delegation headed by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, TİKA president Serdar Çam, and Turkey's first lady Emine Erdoğan. President Erdoğan stated that they would send 10,000 tons more.
