Trump’s scandalous Jerusalem move sparks global outrage

Trump announced his decision despite widespread international opposition to formally recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital on Wednesday. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Thursday the United States' decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital set the region ablaze. Trump's decision has drawn international criticism. Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh called on Palestinians to resist the move, saying: “We call on the Palestinian people to take to the streets on Friday to launch a new Intifada with a view to defending Jerusalem."
