Tornado uproots trees, destroys roofs in south China
A tornado in south China uprooted trees, ripped the roofs from houses and wreaked havoc across fishponds in Dongsheng, a town in Guangdong Province, on Monday. Videos taken by local residents showed the sizable tornado uprooting trees and catapulting them through roofs of distant houses. A villager, surnamed Liang, was nearly blown away by the tornado. He said he was working by the fishpond when the powerful storm descended nearby. Liang immediately ran into his stprage unit to take shelter from the approaching tornado. Fortunately the shed protected him, however his truck wasn't as lucky.
