Toddler dies slipping out of mother’s arms, falls three floors from escalator in India

A 10-month-old girl slipped out of her mother's arms, falling three floors off an escalator. Footage shows the baby first hitting the rail before falling down the gap between and the escalator at a shopping centre in India. People rush to help the baby girl but the child died immediately after plunging to the ground. It is being claimed that the child fell as her mother was attempting to take a selfie.
