The lives of the Palestinians after the Balfour Declaration: 100 Balfour Road

The Palestinian Return Center released a short movie in the memory of the centennial of the Balfour Declaration. The short movie named “100 Balfour Road" briefly and dramatically explains what happened after the declaration was made. It shows a British family being displaced from their home, drawing a comparison to the sufferings of the Palestinians. The movie was written by Richard Beer and directed by Anas Alkarmi. The Balfour Declaration is a letter sent by British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, one of the leaders of the international movement Zionism, during World War I, on Nov. 2, 1917. It stated that the British government would support them in the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestinian territory.
