Syrian refugees in Jordan could be left homeless, starving as funds get cut

Syrian families living in Jordan are struggling as the United Nations' refugee agency (UNHCR) called on the international community for more refugee aid for refugees recently. Currently, over 1.3 million Syrian refugees live in Jordan. Only a few live in the two official refugee camps, while 85 percent live outside the camps. The families living outside the camps are not 'priority cases' for aid. If the funding problem of the UNHCR cannot be solved, tens of thousands of refugee families may become homeless again.
