Speeding car hits police officer on highway

A police officer manning a checkpoint to intercept illegal drugs was hit by a speeding car, sending him flying into the air before landing in the middle of the highway. Miraculously, he's expected to make a full recovery. The driver of the speeding car has not been apprehended.
