Rebuilding effort in near areas of Syrian Raqqa faces challenges

Below the Lake Assad is a site of great strategic importance, the largest hydro-electric dam in Syria, just outside the town of Tabqa. It used to provide a significant amount of Syria's energy needs. Daesh blew up the electricity generators in the dam as they fled. Civilians have begun rebuilding, but it is proving to be an enormous challenge.
