President Erdoğan’s Gulf diplomacy

Turkey has been working non-stop since the embargo on Qatar, which was initiated on June 5. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held many diplomatic meetings with various world leaders. Erdoğan, who has given messages of solidarity since day one of the crisis, held one-on-one meetings with the three key figures of the process in the Gulf. He met King Salman from Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Sabah IV Ahmad al-Jaber Al-Sabah from Kuwait, and Emir Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani from Qatar. Erdoğan gave messages of unity and solidarity in his meetings.
