Muslim worshippers observe night of Barat in Hagia Sophia Mosque after 87 years

For the first time in 87 years, Muslim worshippers flocked to Istanbul's landmark Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque to observe the holy night of Barat, or Lailat al-Barat, which is a blessed night that falls between the 14th and 15th days of the eighth month of the Islamic lunar calendar – Sha'ban.
