Israel closes off Palestinian Ahed Tamimi’s trial to the public and justice

Israeli soldiers unlawfully arrested Palestinian activist Ahed Tamimi last December. In her previous trial, the court decided to hold Ahed's trial behind closed doors and rejected the request that her trial be open to the public on the basis that it was in her “best interest.” Israel detains hundreds of children like Ahed every year for no apparent reason.
