An international charity ship picked up 62 migrants on Saturday night (March 10) in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea after the migrants had arrived at a tug boat Asso Trenta. A number of rescues were performed earlier in the day by the charity ship Aquarius and Libyan coastguard vessels, rescuing hundreds of migrants at sea. The night-time rescue saw charity ship Aquarius send out rescue dinghies to bring back migrants onto deck. Officials on board the Aquarius processed the migrants as they boarded the ship.
