Heavy storm brings floods and power outage to Tasmania

Floodwaters gushed through the streets of Hobart as heavy storms hit Tasmania on Thursday evening. More than 120 millimeters of rain hit Tasmania's largest city, doubling the previous record for daily rainfall in May, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation reported. The state's emergency services received 300 callouts.
