Heavy dust storm hits China’s Inner Mongolia

A heavy dust storm hit an area of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Sunday afternoon. Gale started shortly after 17:20 in the Alashan Left Banner of Inner Mongolia, not long before a hundreds of meters high wall of dust came into the sight of local residents. The chocking dust storm soon engulfed the area and lasted for about 15 minutes, limiting visibility to less than 10 meters and led to a blackout which lasted about two hours.
