Heaviest snow in two decades batters east Canada

Parts of east Canada's Ontario province saw its heaviest snowfall in almost 20 years on Thursday night. By Friday morning, more than 20cm of snow had accumulated in southern Ontario including Niagara and Hamilton. However, the snowstorm brought little trouble to city traffic and air travel thanks to timely snow-removal efforts by the relevant authorities.
