Children living in Gaza released colorful balloons carrying images of prominent figures of the Palestinian resistance into the sky. The event was organized by the High Committee of the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege. Palestinians have been holding peaceful demonstrations dubbed the “Great Return March” since March 30 along the Gaza border. The Israeli army uses live ammunition against the Palestinians who demand "returning to the lands they were exiled from and an end to the illegitimate blockade Israel has imposed on Gaza since 2006."
