Galata Tower reopened for visitors after restoration

Galata Tower, one of the symbolic monuments of Istanbul, is opened on Tuesday (Oct. 6) for visitors with a ceremony by video mapping and light shows after restoration. Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy and other officials attended to opening ceremony. Ersoy said that the tower's last restoration was completed in 1967. Opening ceremony have been watched by many people outside of tower.
