Frozen Balik Lake in E. Turkey dazzles with picturesque view

Balik Lake, in the eastern Agri city of Turkey, takes on a different beauty every season, dazzling visitors with picturesque view and its transparent appearance when frozen. The lake is located about 30 kilometres from Taslicay district at an altitude of 2,241 and is known as a "hidden paradise" by the local people with its nature, islands, fish and bird species. The lake welcomes many nature lovers and campers with its lush green surroundings and deep blue waters in spring and summer, and with its snow-covered mountains and icy surface in winter.
