Fish farming in southern Turkey

Turkey annually earns approximately 14 million US dollars income from exporting bass and breams, farmed in Eastern Mediterranean. Fishes are farmed in cages for 10 months before they are put up for sale. 80 percent are exported to Middle East countries with Lebanon and Iraq leading.
