Farmer women cultivate vegetable garden on higway tunnel in Turkey

A Turkish family living in Kemalpasa district in northeastern province of Artvin, has been cultivating a vegetable garden on a highway tunnel that they have turned into a field for 20 years. During the construction of the Black Sea Coastal Highway, the tunnel was built under the land belonging to the Akdemir family. The cultivated area situated on the international road route that provides access to the Sarp Border Gate attracts people's attention as they enter the tunnel.
