Dozens attend funeral prayer in absentia for 9 youth executed by Egypt after unfair trial

Dozens of people gathered on Friday in Jerusalem's landmark al-Aqsa Mosque to hold a funeral prayer in absentia for nine youth who were executed by the Egyptian authorities without a fair trial on Wednesday for alleged involvement in the 2015 assassination of Attorney-General Hisham Barakat. Barakat was killed in June 2015 in Cairo when a car bomb struck his convoy.
