Defiant Afghan girls attend English course in Taliban-controlled Kandahar

When there's education, there's hope, and for this group of Afghan girls have taken this saying to heart, clinging to hope and refusing to give up on their dreams as they attend an English language course in Kandahar following the Taliban's takeover of the city. There are currently 50 young women who are learning English atthe Sherzai Education center, a modern girls' education center, which has been operating for the past 15 years.
