Dazzling whirlwind caught on camera in Turkey

A sky-touching whirlwind was captured on smartphones in Turkey's Black Sea province of Ordu on August 22, 2020. The whirlwind emerged in the sea following heavy rain in the Persembe district of the province. No casualties or material damage has been reported so far. Whirlwinds are not common but also not unknown in Turkey, occurring mainly in the country's south.
