Footage shows Chinese consulate workers in Texas burning documents and files after they were informed by US authorities that the consulate will be shut down in three days, citing a need to protect American intellectual property and information, amid a sharp deterioration in relations between the two countries. Houston police said that staff there were burning documents because they are being evicted from the building on Friday afternoon. They also revealed that they have been denied access to the premises.
