The Balfour Declaration, which is still the source of the suffering in the Middle East, was written by the then British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Lord Rothschild, one of the leaders of the international Zionism movement. This letter ignited the fuse of the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestinian territory. The Balfour Declaration, only a 67-word letter, caused deep suffering in the heart of the world.
